MWC Las Vegas is the final communications mega event in the US. In 2024, more than 6,000 attendees walked the halls—over 80% from the US. It’s a US event for a US audience, and ConnectMobile, held on day one, remains a personal highlight. It’s not because I helped build the agenda but because of what it represents.

This year brings new faces and fresh perspectives on where RCS, AI, and Identity are headed in 2026. Yes, 2026.

In about twelve weeks, the year will be done. Realistically, we have ten productive weeks left to close deals, roll out products, and hit our numbers. But more importantly, it’s time to think ahead.

How will RCS fare in 2026? How will AI reshape the tech stack? And how will protecting and verifying identity evolve in this new future? That last question should be a rich conversation. As branded calling and texting take over, the problem of who gets to use a brand and how that right-to-use gets verified is a tough nut to crack.

Silvio Kutić (CEO, Infobip), Rodger Desai (CEO, Prove), Christie Kim (COO, Persona), Ajit Pai (CEO, CTIA), and Karine Terzibachi (CBO, Attentive) are just a few of the speakers headlining the event.

The full speaker list will be published soon. Check it out, and if we meet at the event or in the halls of the Fontainebleau, I’d love to hear what you think of the year ahead.

And because I can’t resist a little RCS dogfooding, scan the QR code to get the speaker list as an RCS Message.
