An award-winning salesperson Nitya Kirat is also the author of the Amazon bestseller, “Winning Virtually: 10 Tiny Habits for BIG Virtual Selling Success.” His client list includes major corporations like Google and BlackRock, as well as startups, to whom he offers customized training solutions.

Nitya began as an engineer, and now trains sales and client-facing professionals around the world—proof that these skills are indeed teachable. Having lived and worked in Singapore, India, Tanzania, and the US he has a wealth of international experience that allows him to connect with diverse audiences.

  • The way to look at it is communicating with such effectiveness that you are more liked, and persuasive in a way that people are happy to be persuaded because it doesn’t feel contrived. 
  • But how many people actually WORK on this?
    • Whether it’s sales calls or meetings, public speaking/presentations, leading internal teams
    • We’re all so busy doing, that the improving is left to hope

So What

  • Things keep moving at a faster and faster pace 
  • With AI we’ll be able (and expected) to do more in less time
  • Speed at which signals move from our brains to our mouths to other peoples ears to their brains – isn’t changing as fast and we’re losing those communication abilities
  • Ability to stand in a room and captivate, motivate, move an audience will become more rare of a superpower – so it’s critical to work on it
